The 442 Series PTO is designed to connect a truck's manual transmission to auxiliary equipment like hydraulic pumps for applications such as dump trucks, snow removal vehicles, and fire & rescue equipment.
6-Bolt Mounting: Designed specifically to fit standard 6-bolt transmission openings, making it compatible with a wide range of existing mechanical transmissions.
Durable Construction: Features a robust cast iron housing and tapered roller/cone bearings (instead of needle bearings) on the output shaft, which provides a high torque rating and a long service life.
High Torque Capacity: Offers an intermittent torque rating up to 250 lb-ft (339 Nm), providing ample power for various auxiliary equipment.
Installation Flexibility:
Low-profile shift cover design provides maximum clearance under the truck.
360° rotatable output flange is available, allowing for flexible mounting to different pump orientations.
Slip-fit idler pin allows for easy interchange from one transmission to another, simplifying serviceability.
Easy backlash adjustment feature further simplifies installation and maintenance.
Versatile Options: Available with a wide range of choices to fit specific needs, including multiple speed ratios (eleven), numerous output options (over 30), and various shift types (air, cable, electric-over-air, etc.).
Greaseable Shafts: Features greaseable output shafts for extended life and improved performance.
Self-Lube Option: A self-lube option is available for transmissions that may have difficulty supplying lubrication to the PTO.
