Product Description
A RT Series Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV) representation shows a hydraulic component, often pilot-operated, that uses an adjustable spring-loaded diaphragm to sense downstream pressure and throttle flow from inlet (Port 2) to outlet (Port 1), maintaining a set pressure even as inlet pressure fluctuates, with flow direction indicated by an arrow and often featuring a drain port, working to lower high supply pressures to a usable level, commonly seen in systems like Wärtsilä engines or general hydraulics.
Used to set the partial circuit pressure lower than the main circuit pressure. In addition, remotecontrol is possible by remote control circuit. The check valve type allows the flow to flow freelyfrom the secondary side to the primary side in the reverse direction.
