The TF series external self-sealing filter is primarily an oil suction filter installed at the pump intake to protect hydraulic components from contamination. Its key features include a novel design that allows for easy external mounting on the hydraulic tank, a built-in self-sealing valve to prevent oil leakage during maintenance, and an integrated bypass valve and contamination indicator to enhance system reliability.
Key Features of TF Series External Self-sealing Filters
Self-Sealing Valve: An internal valve automatically closes when the filter cover is unscrewed for maintenance, isolating the tank's oil circuit and preventing oil from flowing out, which makes element changes quick and clean.
Versatile Installation: The filter can be mounted directly on the top, side, or bottom of the oil tank, with the filter head exposed outside the tank for convenient access.
Bypass Valve: To prevent pump cavitation if the filter element becomes clogged, a bypass valve automatically opens when the vacuum pressure reaches 0.02 MPa.
Contamination Indicator: A visual or electrical signal device alerts operators when the vacuum at the filter outlet reaches 0.018 MPa, indicating that the element needs cleaning or replacement.
Filter Media: Standard media options include wire mesh strainers (e.g., 40 to 440 µm) or sintered elements (e.g., 0.5 to 90 µm), depending on the specific application and cleanliness requirements.
Low Resistance: Designed for high oil flow capacity with minimal resistance to flow, which is crucial for protecting the pump's suction line.
