The Parker PVplus series is a high-pressure variable displacement axial piston pump specifically engineered for high-performance industrial applications. Renowned for its exceptional durability, low-noise characteristics, and superior control precision, the PVplus has become the preferred power source for global industrial hydraulic systems, including presses, machine tools, injection molding machines, and heavy-duty machinery.

The series covers a displacement range from 16 cc/rev to 360 cc/rev, with a rated operating pressure of up to 350 bar (5,000 psi).

How an Axial Piston Pump Works

An axial piston pump is a high-performance hydraulic pump that converts mechanical energy into hydraulic energy using a series of pistons arranged parallel to the drive shaft. The pistons move back and forth within a rotating cylinder block, guided by a swash plate. As the pistons retract, they draw hydraulic fluid into the pump chamber; as they extend, they push the fluid out to the hydraulic system, generating a continuous flow.

The variable displacement design allows the pump to adjust the swash plate angle, controlling the piston stroke and output flow according to system demand.
